A Macmillan Solutions project
An opportunity for people to record their life story as a permanent record of their memories to be kept and enjoyed
Maggie's Manchester
Carol Donaldson, composer and musical director, leads the Christie choir, bringing voices together with love and passion. The choir sings songs from all over the world in acapella harmony.
Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service
A specially set up Macmillan allotment based in the local neighbourhood. An opportunity to grow fresh vegetables, have a chat, a cuppa and a laugh.
The Shed Club
The Shed Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 10.30am. Drop in and join the meeting and once you're up and running you may wish to come and garden on other days. 
Living Well with Mesothelioma Support Group
This is a support group for people with mesothelioma and those who care for them. It meets on the first Monday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, in the Lincoln 1 Room at Methodist Central Hall, Oldham Street, Manchester M1 1JQ.
Out with Prostate Cancer
A prostate cancer support group for gay and bisexual men. It welcomes all gay and bi-sexual men who have had cancer, are currently experiencing it or have beaten it. Meets at the LGBT Foundation in Manchester's Gay Village.
LGBT+C Songwriting Workshop
LGBTQ+ from across Greater Manchester are invited to explore and make audible the social, emotional and psychological impacts of cancer. Join songwriters and create music and lyrics that project your thoughts. No previous musical experience required! Takes place Wed 6 June 2018 from 11:00 – 13:00.
The Word on Cancer Book Club
Book club focusing on books about cancer from a diverse range of voices. Meets at Manchester Central Library every two months, starting from 6pm on Thursday 31st May, where they'll reflect on writing that explores the impact on people's lives of living with cancer.
