A four week programme supporting people to recovery, giving them the skills and knowledge to manage their condition and the emotional, physical and financial impact of cancer on their lives.
Maggie’s Manchester
‘Where Now?’ A 6-week online course and 7-week face-to-face course for anyone who has recently finished cancer treatment, incl. exercise, healthy eating, emotional wellbeing, managing post-treatment challenges, partnering with medical teams and keeping up momentum.
Survivorship courses - The Christie NHS Foundation Trust
For young adult cancer survivors, treated between the ages of 16 and 24. The course covers areas such as; Coping after cancer, Late effects of treatment and fertility issues Financial issues, How to get back into education/employment How to help yourself keep fit and healthy
Expert Patient Programme - NHS
An NHS evidence-based programme to support people living with long term health conditions. The programme addresses the physical and emotional impact when managing health and wellbeing.
Back On Track
Back on Track is a Manchester charity that enables disadvantaged adults to make lasting, positive changes in their lives. Their learning centre in central Manchester offers a range of support and activities including training courses, one to one guidance and work experience.
Moving On – Beechwood Cancer Care
Supports patients in looking to the future and getting their life back to normal, using counselling and talking sessions, complementary therapies, discussion groups and relaxation techniques.

Come to a Younger Women Together event and meet around 30 other women under 45 who’ve been diagnosed with primary breast cancer. You’ll have the chance to talk, share and be yourself – away from the pressures of everyday life.
